Brothers Nick and Stephen Wiley of Him Know Who are a multi-instrumentalist, singing, songwriting, North Carolina duo crafting a fresh take on rock music.

After honing their chops in bands Wake Of Redemption and Kindler, the brothers seek to leverage their combined 39 years of experience to craft a sound and message all their own. With wildly eclectic influences ranging from the likes of Yes, Heart, and Led Zeppelin, to folk masters Chris Thile and Doc Watson, and metallurgists Tool, Mastodon, and Gojira, the resulting sound is both challenging and familiar, mature and mischievous, climactic and methodical.

Following in the footsteps of many of their heroes, Him Know Who has opted to bolster their original music with beloved cover tunes, unlocking a wider breadth of available gigs and saturating themselves in the very best songs ever written. The byproduct of this approach has yielded an ensemble that is equally at-home with both acoustic and electric instrumentation. When stage permits, the brothers’ love of larger-than-life sounds persists, augmented by Nick’s recent acquisition of a Charlie Hunter-style “hybrid” guitar, enabling him to play both guitar and bass parts simultaneously, imitating a band with more members.

Riding on the coattails of the release of their debut single “Burn The Flag” in late 2021, which e-zine Rock Fueguino declared “Epic and folk-rooted, deeply emotional ‘Burn The Flag’ is a song performed from the soul,” Him Know Who celebrate Veteran's Day with their 2022 single Unwelcome Guest, written about their late grandfather's military service during WWII. Both brothers being old souls in their mid thirties, listeners will appreciate their their blue-collar approach to lyrical themes, steeped in stories of family, tradition, honor, sacrifice, integrity, and shared devotion to Christianity of the Anglican variety.
